..lets run this race together

...we are better together

…and change a life

Hollie, OK

“I can’t express enough how much the mentoring program has helped on days like these for me, and in my short time of fostering there have been more than I expected. If you don’t have a mentor, I strongly encourage you to get one. I’m incredibly thankful I said yes to having one the moment my home was opened. We are not in this alone even when it feels like we are!! "

Emma, OK

"I truly feel so blessed to have access to this mentor program.  It has helped me with the opportunity to speak with someone who has experience with many different situations.  I have been able to speak to my mentor after hours several times.  She has a wealth of knowledge that has helped me think outside the box on handling stressful situations as well as guiding me to resources that I would not have known about.  I would highly recommend Melissa or anyone in this program."

Sara, OK

"I was so defeated with my first placement disrupting that if it hadn't been for the mentor program and specifically for Melissa, I know I would not have continued fostering. I would have missed out on meeting my sweet, current placement. And it's nice knowing there is someone you can reach out to with questions and advice."

Mission Final

Mission

To improve the lives of children by empowering foster and adoptive families through support, connection, and advocacy.

Our Purpose

To encourage the recruitment, retention, training, and professional treatment of foster and adoptive families in Oklahoma. To help foster and adoptive parents and other concerned citizens work to improve services for foster and adoptive children in Oklahoma. To assist, support, and promote cooperation among foster care and adoptive professionals, biological families, child welfare staff, service providers, and volunteers, in Oklahoma. To promote a clear, balanced, and accurate understanding of the foster care and adoption systems in Oklahoma.

"We live in a world in need to share responsibility. It's easy to say 'It's not my child, not my community, not my problem.' Then there are those who see the need and respond.

I consider those people my heroes."

—  Fred Rogers

We are an organization that loves to help the foster family navigate through the rollercoaster of foster care. Whether you have questions about DHS, the court system, or tips on bridging with your children's biological families. We are here to help.
